
Mirza Tihić, MBA & MS is a nationally recognized expert in the field of entrepreneurship. Over the last six years in both the public and private sectors he has been instrumental in shaping policy and programs at both the state and federal levels that help low income individuals fully integrate into their communities. He has worked with the Department of Transportation, US Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), US Small Business Administration and other federal agencies on increasing self employment for these populations throughout the US. He is the Program Director for an ODEP training and technical assistance center on entrepreneurship for people with disabilities and is National Mentoring Coordinator for Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV). He is the instigator of nationally recognized Inclusive Entrepreneurship. Mr. Tihic often provides training and technical assistance on entrepreneurship, program sustainability, and program evaluations. He is an Adjunct Faculty teaching „Inclusive Entrepreneurship Consulting‟, „Business Plan Lab‟, and „EBV Online‟ at the Syracuse University, Whitman School of Management.

Sahar Segal is a candidate for a bachelor’s degree in Economics at Yale University. She has interned at The Center for Jewish-Arab Economic Development in Israel, and has worked as a tutor at the John S. Martinez School, a class teacher at the TBT School, and a liaison at the Yale World Fellows program. Ms. Segal is the Chief Operations Officer at the Yale International Relations Association and a conference associate at Global21. During TSI 2011, Ms. Segal will be teaching classes on English language, business skills and information technology.

Matthew Metzgar is a candidate for a master's degree in Public Administration at Cornell University and holds bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and in Religious Studies from Hartwick College. His leadership experience includes the positions of Chief Justice of Hartwick College Judicial Board, of president of Theta Alpha Kappa Religious Studies Honor Society, and of vice president of Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society. Mr. Metzgar has experience working as a tutor as well as a senior Phonathon Caller at Hartwick College. During TSI 2011, Mr. Metzgar will be teaching classes on English language, business skills and information technology.

Aminah Zaghab is a candidate for a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at Yale University. She Ms Zaghab has working experience as a graduate intern at Foundation Against HIV/AIDS, Inc.; behavioral medicine research intern at Institute of Human Virology; research assistant at Department of Anthropology at Yale University, volunteering at the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Project and the Yale Refugee Project. She has also been a member of various activist groups on campus, worked with Yale Model UN Conference Coordination, vice president of the Arab Students Association at University and producing various theater pieces on campus. During TSI 2011, Ms Zaghab will be teaching courses on English language, business skills and information technology.

Kristen Logan is a candidate for a bachelor's degree in Government Studies with a secondary concentration in Economics at Harvard University. She has interned at Success Charter Network, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and the Cape Cod Baseball League. Ms. Logan is a self-employed website designer, and she works as a peer adviser for first year students at Harvard. Ms. Logan has also co-directed and tutored for a college preparation and SAT tutoring program for local high school students. During TSI 2011, Ms. Logan will be teaching classes on English language, business skills and information technology.

Sara Lytle is a candidate for a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Study of Religion with a secondary field in Psychology at Harvard University. She has experience working as a teacher and curriculum developer at Harvard STAGE; an editor of the magazine Harvard Review of Philosophy; a research assistant at Manuel Sprung Reserach lab at Harvard University; a teacher at Hands for Help Nepal and a mentor at Friday Night Live Youth Mentoring. During TSI 2011, Ms. Lytle will be teaching courses in English language, business skills and information technology.
